Prior to beginning her career in real estate, Ellie was an elementary school teacher both in El Paso and San Antonio. A native of El Paso, she received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Texas at El Paso and her Master of Education from the University of the Incarnate Word.

She does, however, specialize in historic districts such as Monticello and other upcoming areas such as Mahncke Park, Jefferson Terrace, and Woodlawn.
